***********

Long week-ends in May are perfect opportunities to meet with friends coming sometimes from very far and to enjoy some great wines with them.

A big thank to Marc & Sally for stopping by in the middle of their trip from Seattle to Paris via Le CLos Vougeot. Many thanks as well to Dominik & Clotilde for spending a few hours with us in their busy upcoming wedding agenda to celebrate the refurbishment of our barn (where they will celebrate their wedding in July). We took advantage of these visits to open some great 1er Crus : Puligny 1er Cru Les Pucelles 2007 from Domaine Leflaive, a Meursault Charmes 2008 from Domaine des Comte Lafon and a Chassagne-Montrachet En Remilly 2007 from Domaine Morey-Coffinet. All three bottles tasted very well with a special mention to the Chassagne Montrachet En Remilly from Thibault & Michel Morey-Coffinet, that was simply awesome. The 2007 from this Domaine are currently incredibly good !
